What does the future hold??

My significant other was just told that he has bladder cancer. This was after having the cat scan. Is that possible......can they really say that when they haven't actually performed the cystoscopy? He is scheduled for that procedure on Monday and is it true they don't use any anethesia when they perform it?

Please help......we have so many questions. Where do we start? What should we know before his appointment on Monday??

When my mom had the surgery they gave her an epidural and twilight anesthesia. She tollerated this very well and was talking & joking with all of us in the recovery room.

please let me know how he is doing. mu borther was diagonised with this 1 month ago and i went crqzy. he was diagnosied with stage 2. he had to have surgery thursday in oct  but did dr did not take bladder out, but has to go and have injuection in his bladder for 6 weeks. please let me know about yours.

the ct scan can reveal a mass, then they do an biospy and it is done with no anethesia  and the they schedule you for surgery and the it is up to the surgeon on what to do.

Hi  I did have surgery two of them, what the Doctor did was scrap out the bladder I am wondering why I've not heard others talk about this ? I am wondering if it just won't grow back and get a larger mass!

What type of injuections are your brother taking and what dose it do? And were is he being cared for ?
