Should I request chemo?

I was dx with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm earlier this year.  Had the whipple, which was able to remove all of cancer :)  I've recently been doing some research and it sounds like I'm at risk of the cancer cells still being in me somewhere, just not picked up yet on the scans.  My doctors are doing follow-up tests, but no treatments.  Should I be getting chemo, or some other form of treatment just to be on the safe side?  It sounds crazy, but I've heard it's best to be proactive to increase my long-term outcome.

Hello,

My Dad was also diagnosed with that same type of pancreatic cancer. He also had surgery at which time they told him, margins were clean. However, his Oncologist did tell him that although he hadn't had any reoccurence , the chance of this type of  cancer returning was as high as 80% if he didn't get follow up treatments such as chemo or radiation....My dad is currently undergoing chemo with Gemcitabine.....Gemcitabine following surgery seems to be normal protocal nowadays it seems.
