have any other caregivers dealt with their patient pushing you away?  Does The cancer really wreck the mind? It seems like he is a jekyll and hyde. he actually hates me after i have been there thru every doctors appt.- every scan, etc.... and now has decided to cure himself all by himself so he can say he did it and he is GOD... is that not weird? I am just beside myself and do not understand.

I am lost!

I am so sorry this is happening.  I would suggest speaking to his oncologist about this.  There could be many reasons for his personality change and they do need to be investigated.  Medications can affect one's personality.  Has his brain been scanned for possible tumor growth?  Talk to his doctor, tell them your concerns, this should not be ignored.

Good luck and stay strong.

Yes I've been down that road with my spouse.  One of the stages they go thru is anger;  sounds like that is where he is now.   my hubby is on an antidepressant and that does help him.  Stay strong.  God bless.

Actually, he has not been doing any pharmaceutical drugs.  He has been doing hemp oil, budwig diet, and green shakes. various other vitamins.  He has pushed everyone away and is now moving.... I guess I need to accept whatever he does. We are no longer together because now he does not want a relationship.  My heart is broken and maybe some day he will realize I have been with him every step of the way and would always be there for him.... thanks all ...
