Hi Lynne~~ Wow, I haven't been addressed as Cathy in over 40 years!!  I've been Cath ever since I arrived in Australia -- funny how we chose our own names when we 'grow up'!  My mother calls me Cathleen, especially when she is angry or particularly loving, then I was Cathy as a child, and Cathie as a teenager, but when I got here I became Cath which seemed more like an adult!!  Cath is not a common name down here in Australia -- in fact I don't have one Australian friend who shares my name.  Funny, isn't it.

Anyhow, enough of names!!  I just want to wish you as painless a BMB procedure as possible and results as soon as you can get them so that you can ease your concerns!!  Best wishes Lynne -- I do hope and pray that it all goes well for you.  Cheers, from CATH in Australia

I see this board isn't very busy, but for those of you who were kind enough to read my post and reply I wanted to let you know I had my bmb last Friday and they called today with the preliminary report and said every thing looked good, no mm was showing. They were checking for other issues but so far so good. The rest of the test will be in within 2 weeks but they didn't seemed concerned about any thing else showing up. They were a little surprised because of every thing that was showing on all my test and also this hadn't shown up on my last skeletal survey.

They don't know what it is and are going to keep a close watch on it. I will go back August 13 instead of in 2 weeks. So as far as it looks now I'm still in MGUS. I really didn't think it was mm because it doesn't run in the family that often, but I was a little concerned when he mentioned a type of lymphoma.

Thank you all for being so kind.. God Bless you and I'll pray for your health .
