My father is suffering from Astrcytoma as per pathalogy reports

We came to know when my daddys balance was going while walking we went a Neurlogist for advice she suggest to go for MRI were we found that

there is a tumer & was suggest for MRI Spectroscopy we went for it & found that there is a tumer which is spread so we went to Neurosugeon

he suggested us to go for Biopsy & it was found that it is Astrocytoma &

Poorly differentiated Astrocytoma

As my dad is on bed after his Biopsy his response is decreasing

Bhaskar;

Don't despair.  You didn't say how long since his biopsy.  Is he on Decadron for swelling?  It takes a while after biopsy for the brain to heal.  I am sorry to hear about your Dad.  You will get good advice and support on this site.  Was he diagnosed with lymphoma prior to his astrocytoma diagnosis?  I take it that the astrocytoma is not primary to the brain?  Is he getting treated at a brain tumor clinic.  My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.  More info would help get more response.

Bashkar,

I am sorry this horrible disease has come into your life.  Do you live in the United States or in another country?  That may effect what medical treatment is available to you.
