Just wanted to post that I got my results and I have a small, 2mm tumor. Wow, hearing tumor and you in the same breath is frightening, writing it here is scary too. He says the pathology report shows no lymph or blood vessel involvement. He recommends a vaginal hysterectomy. I did call a gyn/onc and get an appointment for a second opinion to make sure that is the proper course of treatment. I don't think there is any radiation/chemo involved. Most of my questions involve other diagnostic tests. He seems to think that if he takes out the cervix and uterus it will all be gotten but I of course want more assuranace than that! By the way, I am also HPV negative.
Thank you for those that post here, it has helped me be a much more informed patient. I know there are others with way worse diagnosis, but it helps to have a place to go to "talk".
