I have been taking Nexavar for nearly a year and have read a lot about it but I can't say I've heard of any side effects like you describe.  Sorry not to be of more help.

Hello,

I have never heard of the reaction that your mom is having to Nexavar. It sounds unpleasant but is it painful? The flaking skin occurs with me on my feet. It is also very painful. Perhaps your mom is lucky that she does not have the Hand-Foot Skin Reaction.

Good luck to  both of your.

Richard

My Dad has had a few of these spots on his ears also. They took a few weeks however to go away.  His Dr. had never seen this either.  Just a bizarre side effect I guess.

How is your mom doing?

I dont know if you are still reading this but she finally fired her old doc and got one way closer to home because before we had to go all across texas now it is much easier on her and the whole family. Anyway her new doc told her she could stop taking the nexavar so she did and now her face and ears are clearing up a bit. We go back teusday i think and get the new round of chemo they will put a port in her and deliver it somewhere  i dont really know. On the good side i guess her alha peta protien levels went down.
