I have regular blood tests to monitor my MGUS levels. My m-spike is not bad but my kappa/lambda ratio is high at 7.6. My only BMB showed plasma levels at 8%, that was last December. I just had an MRI on my legs and hips and will find out next week if there are visible lesions. I just got a new Oncologist who is very experienced, we'll see what he thinks. MGUS and MM affect everyone differently so do what you have to do to keep and feel well.
