RE: Mini strokes

My husband has had several episodes where his hearing gets messed up, his right side weakness becomes more pronounced and it is followed by a nasty headache. His neurologist thinks these are focal seizures.

He's been tumor free since his initial surgery May 2007 and does monthly 5/23 Temodor treatments

best of luck

Mini strokes

Can anyone tell me if they or their diagnosed loved one has had experiences with mini strokes and GBM? My 68 yr old mother was dx Jan 08 and has had surgery, chemo, radiation..the whole 9 yards. She had started having headaches (which remarkably she never had before) and her balance is getting worse and she sleeps 20 hrs a day. Her MRI's had been clear, but last week they noticed a spot on it. Today they told them that she had had several mini strokes that what were headaches were actually strokes. Has anyone had any experience with this? Her other doctors will be meeting next week to discuss her case and decide what to do...what can we expect? Thank you for your help.
