RE: CHILD ABUSE LINKED TO CANCER

Someone recently told me that cancer or disease can be a result of stress internalized. I would imagine that child abuse is one significant example of horrible stress that might manifest itself as cancer years later.

RE: CHILD ABUSE LINKED TO CANCER

Well, very interesting. I notice that the study was a survey, and the results are based on the people who responded to the survey. Maybe folks who were abused as children and folks who had cancer respond more frequently than folks who haven't had these problems. Might skew the results. Just a thought.

RE: CHILD ABUSE LINKED TO CANCER

Obviously all cancer victims were not child abuse victims. But maybe there's a link for the cortisol, as they said, meaning anything that lowers your immunities and ability to control the cells that start dividing too fast and start being cancer cells. Sheesh.
