Have you been in touch with Dr. Einhorn at Indiana University?  Please call him if you haven't.  Google him and Indiana University and email or call.  tc_wife Mon, 13 Jul 2009 00:00:00 GMT My son 23 years old was told he had testicular cancer, that had spread to his lungs, shoulder and behind the kidney. He was told he had a 98% chance of leading a normal life. He has had his testical off a underwent chemo, they found a 21cm cancer in his stomac that has advanced into his back mussels and spine, and surgery is not possible, With the help of chemo it has shrink to about 12cm but is now growing again. They told him nothing can be done and gave him months to live. He is starting raduim treatment next week but it is not going to cure him. The cancer is a Metastaic germ cell. They can't harvest stem cells as the chemo killed them off, he has had blood transfusions. What I want to know is simply, what other treatment can i suggest he try, as I refuse to give up.
