My husband has pasted

Hi all,

On June 28th, my husband Rocco has passed.  We were suppose to bring him home this week from rehab, the night before he was excited about his progress, looking forward to the future, the engagement of his son, and then suddenly without warning they rehab center called and he was gone.  They said they found him not breathing.  Its like a dream not real, how and why are just tearing me up.  My sons are not at peace with this, they said he had a bad coughing eposide after lunch, then they went back in a hour later to find him.  I am lost but I know my honey is in god hands, its just why? Why so soon, only 9 months after diagnoses.  We are going to setup a memorial to brain cancer and I hope and pray with all my heart they find a curse for this and others can be spared.  Thank you all for being there for me and I will still try to help others with their answers here as you all have done for me.

Oh no. I am so so sorry and sad to read about Rocco, gone, so fast. Just heartbreaking. One minute you're focused on pills, muscles, and bathroom issues, and trying to keep everyone's spirits up and positive, and the next minute he's gone. It's over. It is the Great Mystery...

I know you'll have many people around you. Keep telling people as much as you can what you need, and try to let them help.  I hope you can find your own space, your own voice, your own connection with your beloved guy, deep in your heart. Forever.

Oh Sandy,  This is so sad.  I am so sorry for your and your family.  You have always been so generous with your advice and encouragement.  The disease is not fair.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Rocco is in a better place now but I know that doesn't ease your pain.  Let those around you help you when they ask.  Grieve for your Rocco but don't forget your own needs; take care of yourself.

    I am so very sorry.  It seems so sudden but then again Rocco has been through so much.   I am sure you were totally taken off guard.  You will need time to adjust to not being his caregiver as well as his Wife  I am sad to hear this news and pray for you and your family.

I am SO sorry to hear about our husband.

I don't think there are any words that can make you feel better, but please know that there are many people who are thinking about you and have you in our prayers.
