Trishpm Fri, 03 Jul 2009 00:00:00 GMT Dear Mr. Rufus,Finished the IL-2 therapy about 6 months ago, went through 5 rounds. Hell on wheels does not even cover it as I am sure you know. Cancer shrunk considerably but much like you holding steady and no complete response. Had to stop due to effects on my liver. As for the insomnia--I must agree, it does seem to linger, and from your message it may hang around for a while. I wish you all the best and keep the faith, I am sure there is a logical answer for all this in God's eye. Respects,Bob BobMar272 Thu, 02 Jul 2009 00:00:00 GMT Hi everybodyGot kidney cancer 5½ year ago, finished immunotherapy 1½ year ago - half a year in hell but with a fairly good result (which means no complete response), had a surgery to remove the resulting metastases. Though tired I started early to work but ever since the immunotherapy sleeping has been crap. I only sleep for about four hours every night and I'm getting more and more tired (CT-scans arent wonderful but at least there are yet no reoccurance of the RCC).My docs says side effects can last for long but it should be over now.
