My husband completed tx 7/2/08 - chemo rad for stage iv tonsil cancer.  On 6/11/09 he told me about what appeared to be a canker sore in the area where the malignant tonsil was removed.  It did not clear up, however, it appeared to be shrinking.  He had a biopsy yesterday.  Dr. called today and they will not have the results until Monday.  I am confident that is nothing.....but need to know if anyone has dealt with a recurrence of this type of cancer and if surgery alone will take care of it.  I am nervous about that...but believe with God all things are possible.

Every case is different. You've taken the right step and will know soon enough. Even if bad news, it can be treated and beaten. This site is full of success stories.

God Bless,

Rick
