My ears , jaw line and down from ear to ear on my neck is still parcially numb. When i ask the doctors about it they say its normal that it could take up to 6 months to un numb, well its been 5 months now so........they say its from the anasthecia (sp ) if your husband is experiancing any of that it should go down over time , i know that it has to be horrible for him and you as well to have to go through this time ,but please hold on to your faith it will get better over time . There is a person by the name of mike1s , he iinspired me when i first started out with all of this, i beleive you have corresponded with him as well, hes usually on the ( i cant spell the word it starts with an l ) if you look under head and neck it will list it ,hes the one thats listed as 1 year since diagnose i think he will be able to answer some of your questions he has been through so much and still tries to help others on their path to recovery. Anyway i truly pray that things will get better for your husband and that you continue to have the strenght to endure .god bless the both you.............jr449 (jewell ) jewell thanks for getting back with us. yes we have to keep strong. i am taking him back to the ENT dr in tyler and see what he has to say again for he wanted to get kerry started on theraphy for using is trach. known as a provox so he can talk again. i guess the human body is a mistory to us all and never know what to expect. i am hoping he will start eating better maybe he will be able to sleep better. his night tme med is not doing to good with his new med they gave him for shaking.. and it really helps his twitching in his jawl and so on. jewell thanks for getting back with us. yes we have to keep strong. i am taking him back to the ENT dr in tyler and see what he has to say again for he wanted to get kerry started on theraphy for using is trach. known as a provox so he can talk again. i guess the human body is a mistory to us all and never know what to expect. i am hoping he will start eating better maybe he will be able to sleep better. his night tme med is not doing to good with his new med they gave him for shaking.. and it really helps his twitching in his jawl and so on. but interfers with his ambin for sleep. andy way what all have you had done. what did the doctors have to say and so on.
