I am doing well. I am so sorry to hear about the miscarraige, again. I had to miscarriages within 2 years and it is a tough/bitter pill. It took me months to get straightened out from the miscarriages. Hormones get all messed up and emotions go bonkers. No wonder you are having some issues. Try to eat something on a regular basis, even if it is just saltine crackers. Your hubby is right. If you don't eat, the acid just builds up in your stomach. With the diabetes, you need to try to keep your sugar level even too.I have Hypo-glycemia, not diabetes, but I do need to keep my protein level up or I get headaches, dizzy and general lousy feeling. Love to you Aoife and your family. I do hope and pray that better days are ahead for you with the desire for children and with the diabetes too. Keep your chin up. Barbara

Hi and thanks, the thing is that I am not due a check up for another 8 months - it only happens when I do not eat for 15-20 hours which I can do sometimes (I know, bold), is it any wonder that I am skinny? My husband is saying that it is because I am hungry and because of the way my digestive system is now it is normal - I am eating a lot more now and just had a holiday where I felt me again (apart from another miscarriage but that is diabetes related)...am still having low blood sugars but that is because my apetite varies so much that it is hard to get enough carbs in.I have been eating regularly again and the pains have stopped - though I still take an antacid at night that stops it.Thanks - and how are you?Aoife

Hi Aoife,It never hurts to check with a professional. I still have a bit of trouble with gas, cramps, and digestive problems. I cannot get along without my multi-symptom chewables. Either Rolaids "Multi-Symptom" or Maalox "Multi-Symptom". It's been 5 years and I try to remember where I would be without the surgery and treatment. I still experience the "choking" feeling too. I suspect it is acid reflux backing up. I just purchased some fresh acidophilus and will go back on that regimine for a little while. How are you doing other than that. As I remember you had some diabetic issues too (??). Hope you get feeling better. It is nice to hear from you.
