Is that advisable?  tpsan Mon, 13 Jul 2009 00:00:00 GMT Hi, Paul -I have not gone through BMT yet, but it is my next step. Dx 05-01-08 Stage III, Grade 3 NHL. Had 3 rounds FND with Rituxan then Bexxar.I have read tons about BMT. My onc said that my chemo followed by Bexxar is very close to BMT. I was pretty sick after Bexxar. I am doing well now. Close to remission. Possible thyroid cancer. Last thyroid biopsy was inconclusive so if next PET shows activity, then surgery. Had PETs every 3 months, now every 4 months. Next one in September.    What stage is your NHL? How long between relapses? Another thing about BMT is your age and overall health. I am 42. Do you have any siblings that could be a match?
