First I would like to thank all of you who have helped me with my last post. My moms last doc visit was good doc says shes in remission, and her amyloidnosis has not progressed, they stoped the chemo and are starting rev/dex for treatment. we are all so happy but still cant figure out why she is geting worse then should'nt she be geting better she has been so out of it lately, like talking to people who are not there sleeping all the time and we have trouble wakeing her. and the swelling from her amylod. seems to be getting worse.
I dont understand.

Hi Rose,

Sometimes the drugs stay in your system long after you stop taking them. What does her Onc say about her symptems? I know this is hard, but she will get better.

so i am a little confused to my moms doc says she is in remission. but is still not doing very good. although i do think the multiple meloma is under control but i do think the amylodnosis is whats kicking her but right now. and not sure if there is any thing they can do for that right now. hope you are right that it could just be the meds in her system still. i keep praying that she will perk up. thank you all for the suport it realy helps.
