RE: Granulosa!

Hi sweets, Things are going just ok!

I had a 7.5 tumor on left over and had it removed, this is when i ws told i have GCT. Then i ws referred to UC Davis in Sacramento, i have a great doc>>Dr.John Dalrymple. He did a full histro and staging in sept. He found 4 more tumors, 2 on lower bowel and a ton of cells. He got what he could but had to bring me out, it ws a 9.5 hour sergery. Had a really hard time, took me 8.5 hours to wake up and breathe. Now that sucked, lol. It is a faint memory and i am happy for that. Then i went home but...... ambulance bk to UCD from where i ws staying 2.5 hours away>>>>> Blocked Bowel, now that really sucked, lol! So now at the moment i am having a burning pain next to belly button, i think it is a tare in my lower bowel. I am waiting ona call from my doc, we will fnd out soon enough! So far i have had two pretty major surgeries and do not want another for a whaile. O, doc said my GCT is pretty agressive and i am at stage 3, we are trying to visulize MOSS, moss grows really slow. He has me on a drug called FEMara, its not too bad but i do have random pain in different areas. Shoulders, neck, knees, ect... This drug is stop the cancer cells from deviding and also stop any estrogen production. I have some pretty good hot flashes, LOL. I have not checked into any clinical trials yet but as soon as i see any kind of normal time i will! i hope to talk to u soon and happy holidays kiss, kiss, KayDee

Hi KayDee! So glad to hear you are doing well. I don't have internet where I live just yet, I will after the first of the year. I can occasionally use someone else's signal around here, but not very often. I am doing well. I opted for no chemo and I am just kind of doing vitamins and mostly a healthy diet, nothing too extreme. Tell me more about you. How did your surgery go? How big was the tumor? What is your plan for treatment? Your message was edited and your number was removed. If you want to send it to me again, send it in a private reply. I am going on vacation again, back to the east coast for the holidays. Keep in touch and I will try to check in a little more often. PS...I checked into a clinical trial at John's Hopkins but I don't fit the profile so I wasn't accepted for the trial. It is some sort of bio-med trial but they aren't doing it on this type of cancer yet. Stay well. It's always good to hear from you. xo ~R
