I had my treatment (rads, chemo, modified radical neck dissection) at Hopkins. The doctors there are phenomenal, and they've done major research into these cancers. My advise to you is to collect ALL of your records and go to a major center like Johns Hopkins, or MD Anderson. It sounds to me like your doctors are throwing in the towell.....and with only 20-25% of the tumor remaining, surgery may be the logical choice. But finding the right surgeon..is critical. I had my treatment at Hopkins.
