Hi CeCe, this is Monica. I live in Kansas City. I had breast cancer and I know you are looking for a hematologist. Anyway, I found the best oncologist ever (Dr. Mark Davidner) at Kansas City Cancer Center, where I also had all my chemo done. It is a fabulous clinic where both the doctors and nurses are heroes. Where it not for their care and support every step of the way, I don't know what I would have done to have all the chemo treatment complete. Please contact them. If they don't have the specialist you are looking for, they will be able to refer you to the best. Take care.

Thanks so much for the information. I don't know why I didn't think of them in the first place. I had Bartholin Gland cancer and did my radiation in 2007 at the Overland Park location. I absolutely loved my radiation oncologist Dr. James Coster. He is the greatest!

I have a Sept. 23rd appt. with the onc/hemo doctor I have now. I think I will call the KC Cancer Center and maybe make a second opinion appt. for after that, if I can.
