Whipple Operation

I am needing help and suggestions for my niece who had a Whipple Operation (Non-cancerous) 6 weeks after having a baby.  She has been in the hospital now for 10 weeks,  has had 3 surgeries, she can't eat, only ice chips, barely can walk, is being fed thru a tube to her intestine, which her DR takes in and out too often, due to it gets clogged and nothing seems to help.  She is not getting any better.  Does anyone know if this is normal or not. Our whole family is totally lost, never had anyone sick like this before. Can a patient advocate be hired, so we can get answers? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
