Hi, Just came back from the Dr's appt. My father was diagnosed with gastric stomach cancer. 3 1/2 yrs ago. My brother and Dad has it at the same time my brother 50 yrs old and my dad 79 yrs old. My brothers tumor was large and blocked the espaghaus and he died in 4 months it was in operable and my dads was the size of quarter and in stomach when found.

My father went on a natural treatment that I was so against. He was given maybe a year or less. Only if he would have his stomach removed and spleep completely. He said at my age no thanks I dont want that quality of life. so which he refused. No surgery No chemo No radiation.

He has not has one more scan or test or dr. appt since and it now as been 3: 1/2 yrs. what ever he was taking was amazing. My question is My Dad has not been doing well his legs are weak and sore. He is now 82 1/2. He has been doing well thru this he never retired. Never been in the hospital in his life. He has been also getting so forgetful acting strange. Sad, mood swings, and tired lately. Well I asked if he would go in to see if he may have alzeheimers? He said he would so he could get medication and cure it as he says. So 2 wks since his testing. they also wanted to do some scans to see if he the cancer he was diagonised with could of went to his brain after all this time.

we got the answers today. They told him he has Alzheimer. and  they also told us  no cancer in the brain, but his mass as 3 x the size and also they said he has narrowing of the lumen of the stomach. Does anyone know what that is he wont see a dr. or anyone after he heard this today. I want to know if that is serious and what to expect if someone knows anything about this part? thank you Peggy
