My daughter just had a cone biopsey at Mayo in AZ'

Dr. said she had clear margins accept in one place there were abnormal cells 1mm away from the margin;

What is the goal ?

What would be a desirable measurement from the margin?

The scraping of the canal was clear.

It was squamas cell citu 3;

Dr. recommends pap smears every 3 months? and yes I am concerned

I need good questions to ask the dr. any ideas?

Where was the abnormal tissue found? Was it on the ectorcervix? Was it in the endocervical canal? Was it in the endocervical glands. She needs to get ahold of the lab report and look at it, herself. I would also say she needs to get a second opinion.
