I was recently disgnosed with squamous cell carcinoma near my right tonsil.  I am a 44 year old male.

My mother died in 2002 from the same carcinoma.

On 7/10/2009 I will be getting a PET Scan.  I really don't want to get radiation nor chemo at this point.  I am really leaning toward atlernative therapies.  I have heard many positive experiences from a few people about the Hoxsey Clinic.  I would like to hear about your exerience at the Hoxsey Clinic -good or bad, I'm open to discussion.  Thanks,  JB

From the 1960's I grew up with and eventually graduated with a guy in the desert southwest. When he was stricken w/cancer he kept calling and asking me to come to a state up north.  Finally I went, he and his family left for a southern state and my wife and I home sat the ranch for 4-1/2 years.  I said all that to say that you might say that I know him pretty well relationally.

I am confident that had he gone the route of AMA/FDA that they'd have given him up for a lost cause many years ago.  His grandson came down with something and they took him to Hoxsey...the AMA wanted to do biopsy and intrusive medicine...the little guy is little anymore he a young man; well and doing just fine.

My wife is suffering; as I type, with liver damage, (not cancerous or alcohol related) but she is very seriously loosing weight and she's afraid. I have seen many posts that connect BCI Hospital in TJ with Hoxsey and I have been in contact with BCI.  They have very good bedside manners over the phone.  Tomorrow I am going to call Hoxsey to confirm that they are or not associated w/BCI. BCI told me that the treatment for her condition will be $4,800 to walk in the door, and I can stay in her room for $70.00 per day which includes meals.

Tomorroy (Monday) I will begin the process of looking into starting a fund raiser to get her there...but we will not wait for the money to gather...I will use the credit cards till they are maxed out and exausted if necessary.  If it can be done I will put the bank in charge of the funds and distributing them legally.

Here are the links to Hoxsey and BC and other Mexico options:

BCI: http://www.cancure.org/international_bio_care_hospital.htm&n

MEXICO: http://www.cancure.org/directory_mexican_clinics.htm

www.cancure.org is a good link for information, but a bit confusing to navigate; that's why I gave you the direct links.

Hi. I am not sure if I have spoken to you in the past. I hope you are doing fine. I am a 51 year old male diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma at left base of tonue in October 2008. I refused chemo and radiation at that time and went to Bio-Med. I have met many wonderful people there. Here is my story briefly: From about November to February I followed the Hoxsey diet. I was watching my tumor in my throat. It continued to grow until I got scared to the point of submitting myself to the chemo and radiation. My 7 weeks of treatment ended April 24th of 2009. I am still not fully recovered 5 months later. I am tired most of the time and still have trouble speaking and swallowing. Yes I have improved since April 24th but nowhere near 100%. It gets worse. A recent PET scan shows they killed the cancer in my throat but now it has spread to my lungs (4 tumors) and my upper sinus cavity (1 tumor). Did they cause it to spread or would it have spread anyway, I guess I'll never know. Now I am back on Hoxsey as my only hope for survival besides the hope that the PET scan was an error (very possible they say). I am doing more than just Hoxsey. I am taking many other vitamins and pills that supposedly help fight cancer, including chlorophyll, cats claw, IP-6 (read up on that one), MSM, B-complex, lots of vitamin C, and others. Also, I try to keep my body alkaline and test it periodically with test strips.

Anyway, if you are out there write. I like to talk and learn. I don't know how much we can help ourselves but I don't think we can do any more harm than what the conventional docs are doing. I will never be the same after those 33 radiation treatments.

Take care,

Leonard (also, see my pics and my story at CANCERLS.COM)
