Fol Fox

Hi,   I was diagnosed with stage-4 panacreatic cancer March 25, 2009.

After 9 GEMZAR treatments, the doctor said no improvement and some of the liver tumors enlarged, so he dropped the treatment.   Now I have new doctor that won't quit.  I will be starting infusions of  FOL FOX.   Could any of you point to good web site on FOL FOX userswith stage 4 pancreatic cancer?

Hey Charlie,

I believe some patients who post on the Johns Hopkins Online Pancreatic Cancer Support Board either are presently or have in the past had treatment with Folfox.  Google the name for the address.  It's a pretty good board with both patients and caregivers happy to share their knowledge and provide support.  More active than this one also.
