Paula, I have not tried it nor do I know anyone who has. However, I would urge you to read this information on the American Cancer Society website to at least see their position on the subject. http://www.cancer.org/docroot/ETO/content/ETO_5_3X_Oxygen_Th While chemotherapy isn't pleasant, at the moment is appears to be the only thing working for metastatic pancreatic cancer. Here are two other links that you might find helpful. The first one from Johns Hopkins, while not devoted to Oxygen therapy, does touch on it in is discussion on a current email hoax going around about cancer treatments. http://www.hopkinskimmelcancercenter.org/index.cfm/cID/1684/ The second link is to The Pancreas Center at NY Columbia University Medical Center on the results they are getting with the most promising chemotherapy regimen to date using Gemzar, Taxotere and Xeloda. http://www.pancreasmd.org/guide_mo.html I wish you all the best in your fight. My sister, who is only 62, has just been diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer. She began the regimen at The Pancreas Center this week.

Hi Paula,

While I don't know anyone who has tried ozone therapy, I pretty much know it doesn't help pancreatic cancer.  Don't waste your time and money.

I suggest in addition to visiting the sites suggested by the previous poster, you also visit the Johns Hopkins Online Pancreatic Support Group.  There are many knowledgeable patients and caregivers happy to share what they know and also provide support.

Stage IV is very serious but doesn't necessarily mean a death sentence tomorrow.  Dr. Robert Fine @ Columbia in NYC has given some patients as much as 5 years more than the few months promised by prior physicians.  He pioneered the GTX chemo protocol.

Good luck.

Thanks again John,  did visit the sites you suggested, and on Monday I am near the John Hopkins in Seattle, I did email questions.  What I did find out about Ozone since we talked it is just palliative care, so it would give energy and quaility of life only...........thanks , your sister and family are in my prayers  Paula

Hi Paula,

I am so sorry that you have to deall with this!  But maybe I can help.  I was diagnosed stage IV adenocarcinoma, with multiple liver mets, vascular involvement and lymphnode involvement.  I was told that I had 3-6 months to live.  That was in Nov.'07!!!  I am still working full time and having a lot of fun!  My whole story can be read on my website www.markbirch.org  there is a complete timeline on the :Latest Scans" page.

I have been on the GTX protocol the whole time.  If I can help I will!!

God Bless,

MarkB.
