Hello there,
I have just signed up to this site in the hope that I will get some answers to this awful desease...My 25 year old neice was diagnosed with cushings desease a few months ago and was told she had a tumor in her adrenal gland but they had to give her steroids etc to toughen her skin and balance her hormones etc before they operated.. They operated abouta month ago and said the results from the biopsy would be ready in 10 days...one month later (three days ago) they called her in to inform us that she had adrenal cancer...They are putting her on metotine (spelt wrong I think) and say that that is all there is for this desease..basically it seems to me like there is no hope... WHY???? What on earth is all this about.???? I keep searching the internet for some kind of other therapy...I cant lose my lovely neice!!! she is just like a daughter to me.....Please can someone explain this to me...We are all so confused
