question about efudex around eyes and mouth

I am on the second week of using Efudex all over my face. I have red spots and patches all over. The patches on my cheekbones have apread to red areas up to and around my eyes. My eyes started itching and burning a couple of days ago. Does anyone know if this is supposed to happen? I have been very careful to keep the cream away from my eyes. I do have sensitive skin and allergies. I took a couple of allergy pills this morning and they seemed to help a little. I don't know if the reaction means that my skin cancer has spread around my eyes or if my cream is creating the problem.

I also wonder if the whitish areas on my lower lip are filled with pus or if they are blisters. I don't want to break them just to find out. I treated my lip a couple of years ago but don't remember this happening. If it is pus is there any way to treat it short of going to see my doctor which is going to be difficult right now. I could go see my GP who is nearby and maybe he could answer my questions. Again, hard to do since they are swamped this time of the year with out of staters.

I am on my third week of treating whole face including around the mouth and eyes. I finally trimmed the lower eye lash because it kept getting a little on it and was concerned about the eye.

Early on, I have gotten a whitish area about pea size right at the corner of my mouth and in the crack of my chin.  I am concerned about it, but the derm said to continue putting effudex on it. When I finally tryed to pull some off ( wasn't sure if it was dead skin or not), it became irritated more and bleed some. Now I am putting vaseline on it and avoiding the treatment there.

Sorry to not have been able to help you, I too am having the same problem ( have a lot of allergies too) Could you please tell me how you are doing and if you found out what it is? Thanks and good luck.
