My father has stage 3 esophogeal cancer with part of his stomach effected. He has completed radiation and chemo and is gearing up for surgery now. He has been on a feeding tube for three weeks now and hasn't been able to eat much food through the mouth until recently. So, he lost tons of weight because he couldn't get anything down or to stay in. He was in the hospital all last week and we discovered after a lot of pain they had put the feeding tube in the wrong place and it had a kink...talk about a nightmare. My question is are there any foods people with esophogeal have found easy to eat, taste good, good for you, etc. We need to build his strength and are willing to cook anything!

 Thanks all,

Flittery721

Try the head and neck board. You will find tons of information and support there. It seems pretty quiet on this one.

good luck and see you there.
