I live in Las Cruces, NM. It is a small community of about 150,000 people, and its has only been less than 7 years that we have even had a cancer center in our communuty. I am wondering if there are women who have beat the odds and have lived more than the 5 year survival rate. I am recently starting my third year of ovarian cancer stage 4. It would be good to hear from you. I do know women with breast cancer and no one here with ovarian cancer. It would be great to hear some success stories as I am a little anxious. I am doing great right now and hope and pray to continue doing well. Thanks. Deb

The Internet is one BIG town to meet other like interest people! Good luck. My wife has only had her diagnosis for a handful of weeks.

Hi Patty,
I appreciate hearing from you. Keeping the faith has helped me get through this process too. I saw Dr. Padilla in Albuquerque and did my first chemo threatments in his office. Then I went to Tucson at the Arizona Cancer Center. I am now having chemo at Southwest Oncology off Roadrunner and Lohman. Today I visit the doctor to discuss trying a different drug as the latest one has become resistant. I must say I feel great and recently have taken a chemoholiday for about a month. I know it is time to get going with it again. But I know that God is in charge. You take care. Debbie
Hi Mike,
How is your wife doing? What type of cancer does she have? It's a battle dealing with cancer. But a battle worth fighting. Keep up the fight with your wife. God Bless You. Deb
Harriet,
Thank God that you are doing well! I feel great! Have a visit with my doctor today. I know it will go well. Keep up the good work. Deb
