Lymphocyte Levels

Hi.  I recently went to my primary care doctor and had him review some masses in my body which I had been previously told her cysts.  What were cysts were not identified as swellings of my lymph nodes  I have noticeable areas behind my ear, below my chin, along my neck, on my collarbone, armpit and stomach.  The doctor ordered bloodwork and said everything looked normal.  I was told by another physician that my WBC would not be high if the cancer did not leave the original site.  My lymphocytes were also normal.  Does anyone know if it's possible or normal to have average bloodwork and still be diagnosed with Cancer.  Lately, the swelling in my arm has been transcending down my chest.  I had a chest x-ray today and am scheduled for a biopsy on Wednesday.  The masses starting forming over 5 years ago.

I am new to this just being diagonised with lymphomia.  I went to the doctor with a mass in my neck.  My blood work came back fine, but my doctor sent me to a surgeon who did a biopsy which came back as lymphomia.  My mass seemed to grow quickly (possibly i just never noticed when it was smaller).  As i am finding out this is a slow growing disease.  The biopsy should give you definative results either way.  Good Luck!
