Dad's Doctors office called today out the blue

Hi all, Dad's Cancer Doctors office called today out of the blue.  He wants to see him this Thursday.  He wasn't due to go see him till the 20th of next month.  We don't know what's going on.  That has put Mom on edge.  We don't know if this means he's going back on chemo or not.  

On top of this my sister called last night and told Mom that she and her husband have seperated.  They live across the country from us.  They have 2 grown sons. Mom was already upset about this when Dad's Doctors office called today. I'm trying to stay out of this with my sister.  I'm worried about Mom though she jumps on things to fast and gets worked up.  This isn't the first time my sister and her husband have split but this time it might be for good.  Prayers for both would be appreciated.

Good Evening Anna;

Dad's Cancer Doctors office called today out of the blue.  He wants to see him this Thursday.  He wasn't due to go see him till the 20th of next month. 

This could be as simple an explanation as the doctor has a conference, vacation or seminar to attend on that date.

We don't know what's going on. 

Why not give them a call back and ask why the date was moved forward?

Hi Kevin, If it had just been a change the nurse
that called would have told Dad that when she called. I'm starting to
think that maybe the Dr. wanted to start treatment again (if that's
what the call was about) but since Dad was there the last time the
office has moved so they wanted to wait till the move to start
treatment again.  This just came to me yesterday.  I'm still only
guessing.  He goes over there today so I'll know my this evening what's
going on.
