Best Wishes

Hi All -

Today the onc called and spoke with me at some length. He apologized for the lab mix up and miscommunication. The bottom line is he said all my labs looked very good and the odds of my MGUS progressing to MM were slim to none.  He told me a yearly blood test was all I needed.  As far as my pain, anemia, and inflammation were concerned - he'd be inclined to believe it was an autoimmune disorder.

So...I don't know what the culprit is...but I guess I know what it is not - therefore to linger on your beautiful forum would make me an imposter. So let me leave letting you know that your support meant everything to me and that I will be wishing you well with happy thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,

Amy

Amy,

At least stop in once a year and keep us posted on your numbers. You have been terrific to talk with. Best wishes.

Steve - yes, I spelled bye wrong in my first message

Amy do not be lulled into a false secruity, those kind of symptoms are not always autoimmune. Please get checked every 6 months for your MGUS, I think the most underestimated disease re diagnosis is MM and MGUS. Most of us probably had it a year or two before anyone figured it out so be ahead of the game and read up on it and if your symptoms worsen get another opinion. All the best and you can stay all you want. This is called an open forum. All the best mms

Good Evening Amy;

I am in MMS's corner on her insight. A year is a long time.

Therefore to linger on your beautiful forum would make me an imposter.

Your posts and suggestions were appreciated! And will be missed. But no one here would accuse you of being an imposter if you decided to stay.

I will be wishing you well with happy thoughts and prayers.

We'll take all the positive energy we can!

You take care of yourself and visit when you find the time. No one leaves here a stranger.

Take care;

Kevin
