Ok, I had read all of the posts about havig the LEEP and I want to say thanks to those that have posted, it was very helpful information.
Here is what I can add to help the next lady that has to go through this. I just had the proceedure done about 5 hours OK. Most of the post hit it on the head with the pain you will deal with. The shots were the worst part but if you had the biospy to get to this point, then this will be a cake walk. It was a slight pinch pain but nothing bad.
After the cervix was numb I did not feel anything. The noise of the machine was pretty disturbing plus the smell. OK maybe others forgot or their sense of smell is not so good but the smell of burnt flesh was a little sickening. I had taken my sister and she agreed it was pretty bad. If you have a friend or family member you can take I highly recommend it. My sister and I were just talking and before I knew it, the Doctor was done.
Do take a couple non-asprins about an hour before you go so when the numbing wears off it will help. I have taken a couple more after 4 hours and so far I feel pretty good.
