Dad didn't have Pnemoina

Hi all, Ok Dad is back from his cancer Dr.  They said he felt sick so fast due to the  blood transfusion and not Pnuemoina.  They are seeing this reaction more and more with people like you all that have to have them due to needing blood.  The next time he needs blood they will give it to him over 2 days and give he lasiics (sp?).  He is feeling better. I explained in another post what kinds of problems can come up when one gets blood transfusion.

Dear Anna,

While we are on the subject of blood. I discovered the hard way early on that I can have an allergic reaction to blood products. I now take Benadryl before receiving any blood products. I havent had any problems since I started doing this. The allergic reaction is pretty scary.

Yes Anna. Any blood products. Red blood, platelets etc. Any kind of foreign products give me a reaction.
