We have finally recieved the results of my moms biopsy.  The tumors are malignant but well differentiated, I was told that was good ( obviously not the maligancy.)   We have not yet seen the oncologist, I assume sometime tomorrow, to set up more testing and to stage the cancer.  There are multiple lesions in the right lung ( aside from the the two which were biopsied), mostly very small.  The right Hilar lymph nodes are enlarged, as are upper abdominal periportal lymph nodes, and precarinal.  There are low density lesions in the kidney, which could be cysts.  These are the basics, I just wondered if anyone had thoughts,  experience, and of course advise, to share with me.  My thoughts are with all of you who are having to go through this.

Hello,

This is not a GOOD news. Sorry to say this. My mom had differentiated and it spreaded pretty quick and became extremly ugly.  To her bone and spine (broken ribs cage and crushed spine disc as result)

Any at liver?  How is she peeing now - as kidney got some low density lesion?  30cc/ hr is required.

Keep us update.

Best wishes,

Victoria

This is not welcome news, however, my husband was dx 6/06 with pretty close to the same areas involved. It has been a roller coaster ride to say the least!! As of today, he is doing fairly well... most of all he is still here!!

We are planning a fishing trip to Florida in Sept..... so don't lose hope, there are treatments that help manage this disease.
