Carcinoid Tumor and Syndrome

Recently diagnosed with Carcinoid Tumor and Syndrome, been on Octriotide for less than a month will great results and no side effects, due for surgery within the fortnight and would like to hear of similar stories, experiences

Unclear if my tumor is on the tip of the pancreas or impacting on the stomach. Will have to wait till they open me up. Not to mention if there is any sign of it spreading elsewhere. Never had a sick day in my life, so this is a real shock to the system, so would appreciate to hear from others with similar experiences.

My husband was diagnosed 'out of the blue' a year ago with the very weird carcinoid cancer - I have found a lot of information and support through the Carcinoid Cancer message board on this site - just click on the 'carcinoid' topic. You can go back and look at previous posts to find out about different treatments and reactions to treatments. Best wishes.

 How is your partner going, where was his cancer, how did treatment go for him and how is he doing now, equally how r u doing.
