My father in law just finished taking steriods-boy did this really wind him up! He now feels weak with the dialysis treatments. He still cannot eat anything, keeps saying when he can he is coming home. One of our church members brought him the bible recorded on cassette and he grins while listening to it. I know he misses going to church alot. We keep praying!

Hi MeMe2one, He'll feel it to when he comes off the steriods. He will be real tired. How come he can't eat? He needs to try to something. I'm sure reading the Bible gives him comfort.

Hey Anna- He cannot eat due to asperating. He has a feeding tube in. Last nite he told us that the speech pathologist said that it would be at least 2 weeks before they would try jello. He just started on chemo yesterday. I am hoping he does ok with this.
