Can someone please help

I had a leep done 10 days ago.  I started bleeding three days later and have been bleeding ever since (7) days.  I went to the doctor today and I have a infection.  We also went over my reports and this is part of it.  CINIII and something 2 I forgot what the second thing was and was hoping someone might be able to help.  Also she thinkings that she didn't get it all.  I had enocervical and she thinks when she cut she might have cut thru it because the test of the tissue she cut off tested positive and the fresh cut tested neg.  So she is saying that she feels its still there.  I am leaning towards a hystor if I have to go through a leep again not because of a bad experience but because I don't want to go through this any more.  It has been a year since I have started this journey and ready for it to be over.  If anyone has any info about the above question please help.  Thank you

Hi,

I am in a similar situation. I was diagnosed with carcinoma in situ. I am seeing an oncologist who did a cone biopsy. I did not get clear margins so he is now talking about ANOTHER cone. My attitude is similar to yours, if I have to be put under anesthesia AGAIN I just assume have him do a hysterectomy so I don't have to keep going through all this nonsense. I know (and so should you) that I will have to stay on top of this even though the uterus is gone because there is always the chance of dysplastic cells showig up in the vagina.

Are you seeing an oncologist? I would suggest you do with CINIII and also get a second opinion even if you are comfortable with your doctor.

I know it can be so frustrating, so so very scary, but hang in there.

Doctors don't like to do Hysterectomies because there are sooo many complications with it, including death.
