My wife had a radical nephrectomy in Jan., '05, lesions showed up 3 yrs later in lungs & liver, thought locally to be clear cell, 2d & 3d pathology opinions indicate chromophobe; she went on Sutent which worked for @ a year before progression, now in a clinical trial for investigative drug, Pazopanib, which caused SEs requiring dosage reduction by 1/2 but showed minor shrinkage on 1st CT, now on 4th cycle, continuous.  I am interested in sharing info re Pazopanib w/ anyone else who has been or is now on it.  Thanks!

Correction - she is now on the 3d 28 day cycle, continuous, of the Pazopanib, only the 1st was at the full clinical trial strength, the 2d & the one she is on now are at 1/2 strength, & she will undoubtable stay at that level as long as she is on it.

Hi There,

just read your message and i've been keeping an eye on this drugs progress as it's not far off hitting the european market.

i was wondering where abouts in the world this trial is taking place (US/UK) as i'm in the UK, have failed Sutent after 14mths, i'm currently on Everolimus which seems like it's not working & am looking for the next possible treatment.

can i also ask roughly what percentage tumour reduction you experienced & whether this continued over the following cycles or did the tumours then stabalize?

Many thanks
