Docs and Hospital Stats ??

I thought I would ask all you skilled researchers here about best and quick way to obtain statistics on hospitals and docs. Guess this is all called 'ratings', opeations outcomes, survival rates, complications, etc. ..this is all pretty much 'handholding' of sorts..for my brother moving towards surgery of pancreas soon. We just have gotten mixed up on just how many operations the various docs have done, what percent our cancer related and such. And yeah I know we prob do not need to know a lot of this, it comes down to mutual trust and just how aggressive we are. I will google around of course , just that many here seem to know so many great tips on this crazy process. Thanks for any hints and suggestions.
