I met a patient here at the Wellness Center that was told in 2008 that she had 3-5 days left at most.  This is 8/2009 and she is doing very well since coming to see Dr. June Meymand and the team of doctors whe works with.  No one can really know when a persons time is up and it truely makes a big difference if people write off their loved ones.

I have never seen in my five years of this battle anyone as bad as the lady mentioned above.  She has been here for two months and she is now out of pain, thriving, taking treatments well without all the side effects.

I also have been a patient here for two years myself.  I was given a couple of months to live by MD Anderson over two years ago now.  Patients have to have a complete team to get well.  Oncologist, surgeons, Dr. June has this team and does great work.  God bless, I hope this helps.  972-661-8140. At least call and talk with her.

Have the doctors given you any indication of what may happen next?  I would try to pin them down.  They probably can't tell you exactly but maybe can give you an idea.  Although I was with my father throughout his battle with stomach cancer, it turned quickly and I was totally unprepared when he passed.  Spend time with him and treat every day as though it might be his last.  I wish i hadn't been so stressed while he was ill and didn't take some of those last months for granted.

Like mentioned above, nobody can determine when it's one time to go...just spend every possible moment you can with your father.
