Interesting Badger, but I'm not sure that wine goes very well with pain meds or Revlimid!!  Still, you'd certainly be more relaxed overall, wouldn't you!!  Cheers, Cath

Cath,  My husband and I have a deal.....he sips his wine vicariously through me.  And on the days where the dexamethasone kicks in....as a care provider, I need it to take the edge off.  For those of you that are in this battle, my prayers are always for you...the truly couragous ones.  Cheers.

Actually, we made hibiscus tea for him...that pretty much looks like a red wine. When we go out with friends, he takes his tea...and no one knows the difference between him having a glass of wine or the tea.  Thus he seems to be seen as "not sick".  AMW

I always knew there was a reason I drink red wine!

Before, during and after chemo I have asked my doctors if it's okay to drink wine and the answer is yes, if you feel well enough.  If it affected the results of chemo, the doctors would say 'no way'.  So I drink wine and if they tell me to stop, I will.

Take care,

Lois
