still questioning????

My husband was admitted to the hospital in Feb 04 for a galbladder operation.  Since he had aritificial heart valves he had to have a TEE test.  The nurse came back and said they saw something but didn't know what it was.  His doctor insisted he be moved to a hospital in NYC.  I told the dr. what they told me about seeing something.  To make a long story a little shorter, he never felt right after that surgery.  He was loosing weight, was anemic and short of breath.  he kept going to his dr. and he would tell him to have his pacemaker checked.  A year and a half later he was diagnosed with stage 4 nsclc in the bronchi  Two doctors told me what they saw in the TEE was probably the beginning of the cancer.  Has anyone ever heard of anything like that?  It has been eating away at me for a long time and wish I could get some answers.
