Cancer diagnosis

I was just diagnosed with well deferentiated admit cancer of the uterus two days ago.  My doctor said if I had to have it, this is the best kind to have.  I don't know if there is any good kind to have and I see an oncologist tomorrow morning for the next step -- which I believe will be a hysterectomy.

My question is about diet.  I've been doing some Internet research and it's confusing.  I want to make sure that, after I have this surgery, I'm eating and drinking the right things to support my immune system.

Do any of you have knowledge of what a good anti cancer diet would be?

It's a very science-based book, but I would highly reccomend Foods that Fight Cancer. They also now have Cooking with Foods that Fight Cancer, but it seems pretty geared towards people with gourmet tastes. Not to mention that they don't even bother to put the calorie content in any of the recipes.
