Hello-
My husband had a minimally invasive esophagectomy on 7/28/09, and a 16 day stay in the hospital. He came home on full liguids. but 4 days later developed a fistula in the neck and now cannot eat. If he swallows fluid it comes out his neck. He is on J-tube feedings.
We pack the fistula 3 times a day but wonder how he will heal as he coughs so much.
Has anyone experienced this??
