I would like to thank the person that posted the information regarding the HemocToday site - it was an interesting read giving percentages regarding the effectiveness of Sutent.
I wanted to ask if there is a specific organization in the US for kidney cancer info? I was just informed this week that there is now a Kidney Cancer Canada organization but I haven't yet had a chance to go over the site carefully.
My husband took Sutent for approximately 18 months and it had totally shrunk the tumours so he was given a "vacation" for almost 18 months and now has to restart the Sutent as the tumours have begun to enlarge. Has anyone had the same experience? Did the tumours respond once Sutent was restarted? Needless to say, we are a little off-balance by the bad news ...
