Hi 6772123 Im realy wishing and  hopeing  you do well in this trial. Can you please let us all know how you go with this. It should work as I know It blocks the formation of testosterone by inhibiting CYP17A1 (CYP450c17) an enzyme also known as 17α-hydroxylase/17,20 lyase. This enzyme is involved in the formation of DHEA and androstenedione which may ultimately be metabolized into testosterone. But  I have all so read it has a nil effect on prostrate cancer where the patient hormone treatment has just stop working looking forward to hearing from you on  how it turned out All the best Ray

Hi Yeah Marty mate I’m from Australia I notice a lot of patients  have had  hormone therapy that failed. it good and also  amazing  your treatment still  working. And  bring your PSA down by 50%

Any Way  Marty it good to hear from you again, and yes I do Have prostate cancer, Ive had it since 2007, and back in 2007 I tried to get it treated by conventional treatment,  robot surgery, but because the two uros I had seen  said that because I was over weight, (I was and still am  300lbs) at the time, they would not do it. I even tried to get an RP I ended up walking away from the RP I’m glad I did. now, After I seen a naturopath I started  using the that  holistic alterative treatment. so many of us are on. Like  no sugary foods or drink, A low crab diet, I eat almost no bread at all, I’m on the Budwig diet, I take high dose of vitamin and mineral supplements, and I’m also on  120 mg of Red clover a day. Its all working well, as like you my PSA is also half was it once was, I found out all this after I seen a naturopath who know not just how to treat cancer but to help my body fight it  I was told, when we have cancer the whole body sick not just one part of it, I’ve learn this is so true, at the time in 2007  I did not know how sick I really was, un till  now,  I feel better then I’ve felt in years. I even think better and clearer. I’m not under strain like I was before  My doctor never told me, that to much Fruit sugar, or to much of any of the simple sugars can effect prostate cancer it feed it but I know now. Can you let me know how your going from time to time you will see a lot of my post on the cancer compass prostate cancer message board just reply to one of them or have a read and let me know what you think all the best Ray

The clinical trials for Abariterone are to prove that the drug can be useful for hormone-refractory PCa.

Hi 6772123,

I hope the treatment has been successful for you. I'm writing this on behalf of my father who has HRPC with bone metastasis late stage (3). We been trying to get hold of this abiraterone acetate, my father live in Indonesia and hoping to get this drug somehow. I been trying to contact Dr. De Bono from Marsden Hospital in UK but no luck. Any good feasible suggestion you can share with us. My father is a doctor and thinking of having the treatment done locally in Indonesia due to he is now paraplegia and very weak (on 3rd chemo). Hoping to get a respond soon. Thanks kindly.
