I would be concerned and certainly would get a second opinion - perhaps a gyn/onc. A PET scan is the only true test to determine if there is cancer pesent. Ovarian cancer is usually discovered after it has moved on to other areas and then it is almost too late. Early detection is the answer.
I have been battling Ovarian/Peritoneal cancer and breast cancer for over 3 years now. It was the breast cancer test that brought up questions about where the cancer was and ultimately a PET scan that found the Peritoneal cancer. After surgery and chemo I had a year which appeared to be cancer free, but it is back and now I'm on chemo forever. Had I caught it earlier, I could have been cured.
Good luck with making the right decision.
